Lawyer | Jackson Native | Advocate with Heart
Molly Pickerill brings deep local roots, a strong academic foundation, and an unwavering sense of compassion to her work at Trefonas Law, P.C. A Jackson Hole native, Molly graduated from Jackson Hole High School in 2016, where she served as student body president and developed the leadership skills that now guide her in legal practice.
Molly earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Wyoming. She remained in Laramie to complete her Juris Doctor at the University of Wyoming College of Law, where she focused on client-centered advocacy and public service.
Known around the office as the “Elle Woods” of the firm, Molly is proud to challenge expectations while offering thoughtful, strategic, and empathetic representation to every client. Her golden retriever Nash—adopted just before law school—has been by her side through every brief, exam, and courtroom appearance. Whether he’s curled up at her feet while she prepares for court or featured alongside her in firm photos, Nash is more than a pet—he’s her steadfast reminder of loyalty, resilience, and joy.
Outside of the office, Molly is happiest surrounded by the people she loves on a sunny boat day at Jackson Lake. Her approach to law blends heart and hard work, and she is honored to serve the Jackson community she proudly calls home.
